Introduction
MPA stands for “Master of Public Administration.” It’s a special degree that teaches people how to lead and manage in the government and non-profit sectors. Such as government, non-government, public enterprises and private sectors. Similarly, Master of Public Administration (MPA) program of Tribhuvan University is a common purpose program in semester system, designed to produce high-level human resources. Moreover, MPA degree is for people who want to be leaders and make the world a better place by working in the public sector. The students need at least 1000 marks in four semester for graduation with pass in all subject.
ELIGIBILITY
Following are the eligibility criteria for MPA Admission:
a. Candidates who have successfully completed Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from Tribhuvan University or from any other Universities recognized.
b. Students need to pass the Admission test which is conducted by the Faculty of Management (FOM).
Contents of Admission Test
The admission test comprises of following areas :
- Verbal Ability
- Quantitative Ability
- Logical Reasoning Administrative
- General Awareness

Evaluation System
Following are the Evaluation system.

There are two types of evaluation. They are internal and external evaluation. External means written exam which is 100 marks.
